The NSW Total Environment Centre, has a growing web site of excellent information about protecting the environment and our health. Go to www.safersolutions.org.au TEC also have two invaluable resource books to protect children in schools from exposure to toxic chemicals, written by Australia’s leading toxics warrior, Jo Immig: • Safer Solutions: Integrated Pest Management for Schools and Childcare Centres. • The Toxic Playground: a guide to reducing the chemical load in schools and childcare centres is compulsory reading for teachers, childcare workers and parents in optimising the health and safety of our children.
