A History of Green Clean Training Projects

For almost a decade, Fresh Green Clean has conducted numerous green clean training and consulting projects across Australia. Catering to a variety of industries, service sectors, educational groups and local governments, these projects range from comprehensive Green Clean Programs, numerous workshops and public speaking events, to the creation of our greenRclean™ Training materials. To represent the breadth and capacity of our services, we have listed a selection of our projects below.

June 2010


FGC has just been engaged by Melbourne Water to conduct a Fresh Green Clean Benchmark audit, as the beginning of a full Green Clean Program. We’ll keep you posted …

April 30th to June 2nd 2010


Bridget is a key note speaker at the Going Green Expo held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. She will be presenting all three days: April 30th, June 1st & June 2nd.

April 2010


A Green Clean Management workshop was conducted for Rapid Response which is Australia’s first GECA (Good Environmental Choice Australia) Certified cleaning service

April 2010


The City of Yarra commenced Melbourne’s (and possibly Australia’s) first full Green Cleaning Program for Local Government.

March 2010


Melbourne University engaged Fresh Green Clean to create Green Cleaning specifications for their organisation

February 2010


Fresh Green Clean customised and conducted a green clean training workshop for Tennant Groups’ ecH2O distributors

February 2010


Bridget Gardner delivered a presentation for the Metropolitan Waste Management Network meeting called: Green Cleaning Systems to Reduce Waste. Download a copy of the presentation.

Airlite Group (Perth) were the first contract cleaning company to book and participate in all 3 greenRclean™ training programs in addition to engaging Fresh Green Cleans’ Management Workshop & Consulting Services.

October 2009


Lennox Institute commissioned Bridget to write all three levels of their greenRclean™ training program (soon to be accredited) for contract cleaners.

September 2009


The Green Clean Management Course was conducted at Sydney University

Mid 2009


FGC was engaged by The City of Yarra to evaluate prospective tenderers against the green clean specifications

May 2009


Two Green Clean Management Courses were conducted at the University of NSW

Early 2009


Fresh Green Clean developed a comprehensive Green Clean Program for cleaning CERES Environment Park.

September 2008


The City of Yarra commissioned FGC to write green clean specifications for their cleaning tender documentation.

2008 - 2009


Fresh Green Clean was engaged by Boroondara Council, GlenEira Council and Hepburne Shire to deliver Safe and Green Cleaning training sessions for their Home Care workers.

A Green Cleaning training course was conducted for Home Carer management at Manningham Council

2007 - 2009


Conducted Green Clean Competency training sessions for Daniher Property Group; Corporate Cleaning; Tersus Green Cleaning and EASLI Cleaning Company

2007 - 2009


Bridget has presented at the following Early Childhood conferences: Early Childhood Australia; Family Day Queensland; KU Children’s Services

November 2006 - March 2008


Fresh Green Clean conducted the SASI Clean™ Project with the assistance of Swinburne University and funding from the Sustainability Fund, managed by Sustainability Victoria

Fresh Green Clean has conducted more in-service training sessions for the Early Child-hood sector in Victoria, NSW and QLD than we have room to list here!

2005 - 2006


Bridget was engaged by the Brotherhood of St Laurence as Supervisor and trainer for their Community Enterprise Green Cleaning training and service program

2005


Ross House Building engaged FGC to develop full Green Clean specifications and develop the first integrated Green Clean Program including product purchasing and training.

2005


Green Collect engaged FGC to develop a Green Clean Plan, including cleaning procedures and training for their Community Enterprise cleaning team.

2003 - 2010


Bridget has presented numerous Fresh Green Cleaning community workshops and corporate information sessions for the following Victorian Councils: Banyule, Bayside, Boroondara, Byron Bay, Darebin, Glen Eira, Hobson’s Bay, Kingston, Knox, Manningham, Maribyrnong, Melbourne, Moonee Valley, Moreland, Nillumbik, Port Phillip, Stonnington, Whitehorse, Whittlesea, Willoughby, Wyong…

2003 - 2010


Bridget has tailored Fresh Green Cleaning workshops, seminars and corporate information sessions to suit many organisations. These include: Allens Arthur Robinson, Green Collect, Monash University, Try Youth, Sustainable Living Foundation, Western Autistic School and many more…

2002 - 2010


Bridget has written articles for many magazines and  journals, including: Renew Magazine; The Green Pages 08 Lifestyle Magazine and a regular contributor to the Green Pages e-news Green Razor; Shopping Centre National’s The Big Guns, 2010; Inclean Magazine; Early Childhood Australia’s Every Child; Lady Gowrie Child Centre; Barefoot Magazine; VAEE Journal; Little Green Steps; etc.
